Hear It From Me

I'm a full-time doctoral student pursuing a Ph.D. in Health Promotion Sciences. Healthcare is a field that I’ve always been interested in. However, after failing the MCAT twice and attending a post-bac program, I knew medical school and becoming a medical doctor was no longer my destiny. I decided to pursue a Master's degree which gave me two years to figure my life out. I enjoyed research so much that I continued on to pursue a Ph.D.

I was so tired of being a broke college student that I launched an e-commerce site ,TheFancySuccess.com, on June 1st, 2017. What started off as a site with only three products, quickly expanded to a luxury brand that is home to affordable custom luxury furs. Shortly after, I saw a gap in the hair extensions industry and launched another e-commerce site that is home to luxury quality hair extensions ,IvyLTresses.com, on June 15th, 2018. Both businesses were built from the ground up with $500, a laptop, and countless hours of researching on the internet.

My passions have always been education, travel, and fashion. I’ve traveled to over 19 countries and grew my social media following by making Instagram my fashion diary. I created this blog to drop gems on all thing education, travel, and fashion. Follow me on this beautiful journey called life.
